Last weekend I made a trip to the ever so beautiful Puducherry, a land of mixed diversity where the French and the Indians live in celestial harmony with its shores kissing the currents of the Bay of Bengal. Walking by the French colonies, I almost forgot that i was in India cause of the strong European influence on architecture and cleanliness. One can find inner peace and a meaning to life at the Auroville , a place so serene that it made me forget that there is a city not so far away. The oceanic breeze neutralizes the hot summer sun and with a pint of coconut water in hand, Puducherry served as a great weekend get-away.
